Writing Retreat

Are you constantly chasing your tail, trying to find a quiet moment to get your creative and planning work done?

Taking time out of the day to day running of your business is vital when you want to step into visionary mode. It’s almost impossible to serve clients one moment, then jump straight into big picture thinking or learning a new skill the next. What you need is TIME and SPACE AWAY FROM YOUR BUSINESS. And a retreat is the perfect solution.

How do I know this? Because I’ve experienced the joyous results first hand both as a participant and as a host…many many times.presenting at writing retreat

Getting away from distractions, away from your norm, away from everything you use as a procrastination tool is the key to success when you want to get a WHOLE LOT DONE.  Especially when it comes to content creation.

Creating and sharing content, as most business owners know, is a great way to demonstrate your value and expertise, to attract media, to educate and inform clients and prospects and to set yourself up as a thought leader in your field.  The challenge is to find the time in your crazy busy week to write blogs, emails, social media posts…to film videos, create programs,  write a book, oh, and also actually see clients!! It’s kind of ridiculous isn’t it?

The best way that I’ve found to actually have a shot at making this happen is to get away from it all and FOCUS. Focus on just doing the one thing you always put off but know will be great for your business.  Writing. Get the help and accountability you need (ME!), remove the distractions (and excuses), be a little pampered along the way so it feels worthwhile and not like purgatory, and just get the job done.

I have two opportunities for you to do exactly that this year.

Make 2023 the year you actually do write that first blog…or book. Don’t put it off any longer.
